Bank of America x BuzzFeed

Better Money Habits Retreat

In 2018, we partnered with Bank of America to create Camp Better Money Habits, creating a community of young professionals with smart financial habits on salaries of $50,000 or less to talk about their experiences. In 2019, we levelled up our activation with a new, elevated experience aimed to help Millennials across America beat the “comparison trap” and keep up with what matters.

We hosted 50 attendees, 2 reporters, 4 influencers, 15 Bank of America Local Reps, 5 Bank of America clients and 14 agency team members in Miami for an incredible weekend filled with incredible people — learning from each other and our financial literacy curriculum.

Partnering with Bank of America and its agencies through concept to execution, the event was amplified through a burst media strategy to drive buzz and excitement across BuzzFeed, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & Snap.

Content included a live blog, a full 24hr takeover of the BuzzFeed handle with Creator Devin, and a three episode “Stories from the Better Money Habit Retreat” video series, launched within 24 hours of the event concluding.

Key Stats
